Carl <br />Date: April 5 1985. <br />i' <br />l� <br />1' 1 <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Subject: 10' Fire Lane along property at 31399 Crystal Bay Rd. <br />Dear Jeanne; <br />During a recent meeting involving Crystal Bay Rd. res'ldents,l <br />had the opportunity to examine a plat reap of the area. I noticed <br />a 10' public access running along the west Fide of the above <br />stated property. Upon physical examination of that property <br />line it appears that a graveled parking area alongside the west <br />side of the existing garage overlaps well into the public area. <br />Also having been an interested observer during Lhe variance <br />hearings for this property it seems to me that part of the final <br />variance was the requirement for elimination of all hard cover <br />along the west side of the new structure. I spoke with a former <br />member of the Planning Commission who was, at that time, an <br />active member of the commission. This person also remembers <br />something similar.
