We strongly support the Hennepin Park Reserve District in their <br />long range plans to acquire this property. Their management of this <br />area for the benefit of general lake users, and even the r n-boat owning <br />public, the only way this will ever happen. <br />We recommend that this bill. be modified in such a way as to ensure <br />that try health, safety, and welfare of the general public is secured by <br />the implementation of an immediate repair program to meet Sta-e code <br />(Building & Fire)•:rich would result in a minimum degree of safety <br />before the facility is open for the public use. And that the general <br />public wi l l benefit from actual use of the property whenever Veteran's <br />Camp use is no longer feasible or desireable. <br />Page 3 <br />
