E <br />Mayor Mary Butler <br />City of Orono <br />Orono lln <br />Dear Mayor But!er. <br />--------------- <br />I <br />FM25iq,6 <br />L <br />CITY GF <br />This is in reference to the city ordinance governing the storing of <br />boats, trailers, docks, etc. on residential lots. <br />Because of the physical problems of many of the lots rin Crystal Say <br />Rd., 0.e.; narrow lots, closely spaced houses, inaccessible rear _yards, a <br />road along the lakeshore, etc.? it is almost impossible for the residents to <br />comply with the ordinance as it is now written. As one drives along other <br />Lakeshore areas of Orono, it becomes evident that many other people have <br />the same problem.. <br />The lake is the basis for a great deal of recreational activity all year, <br />consequently, a great deal of equipment ; boats., snowmobiles, docks, etc.? <br />is accumulated by the residents.
