• <br />4394089 <br />RESOLUTION NO.918 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A PLAT ROAD IN THE SW 1/4 OF <br />SECTION 29, T118R23 WITHIN THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has received a request from <br />the Hennepin County Park Reserve District to vacate a portion of a <br />plat road lying entirely within the Morris T. Baker Park Reserve; and <br />WHEREAS, no other property abutts or has access from the <br />portion of the plat road which is to be vacated; and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a Public <br />Hearing regarding said vacation was held before the Planning Commission <br />on June 26, 1978, and all interested persons were given an opportunity <br />to be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, after due study and consideration, the City Council <br />of the City of Orono finds that it will be for the best public interest <br />to approve such vacation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that such request is hereby <br />granted and the said "plat road" legally described as follows: <br />"All of the 'Plat Road' within the City of Orono, Hennepin <br />County, lying west of the east 332.3 ft. as shown on the <br />plat of Minnetonka Garden Acres in the southwest quarter <br />of Section 29, Township 118, Range 23." <br />is hereby vacated subject to the Hennepin County Park Reserve District <br />granting and providing a private easement for utility purposes to the <br />owners and operators of the existing utility lines traversing said <br />platted road. <br />This resolution was passed 11 day of J lY 1978 <br />William B.
