• :RESOLUTION ;1F911 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HENNEPIN <br />COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO <br />CONDUCT A TRAFFIC STUDY ON SHADYWOOD ROAD <br />(COUNTY ROAD 19) IN THE CITY OF ORONO <br />WHEREAS, on May 15, 1978 the City of Orono did <br />receive a letter of complaint from several citizens in <br />Orono requesting a lowering, of the speed limit on Shady - <br />wood Road (County Road 19), from the southern boundary <br />line at the Narrows Bridge, north to Shoreline Drive <br />(County Road 15) at Navarre from 40 MPHdown to 30 MPH, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono's staff has reviewed <br />the situation and does agree that a traffic study be <br />conducted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of <br />Orono does hereby request of the Hennepin County Department <br />of Transportation to conduct a traffic study on that portion <br />of Shadywood Road (County Road 19), starting at the southern <br />boundar-,= of Orono at the Narrows Bridge, north to Shoreline <br />Drive (County Road 15) at Navarre, and to report back to the <br />• City of Orono the findings of that study. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, <br />at a regular meeting held June 15, 1978. <br />am B.
