State uuds RES0LUTI ON #903 At a (regular) (axe) meeting of the City Council of the City of Orono , duly held on the 27 day of April , 19 7$, the following Resolution was offered by Mayor Van Nest , ; seconded by Councilman Pesek, to wit: WHEREAS the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has caused to be pre- pared: plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 2(1 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 12 , within the corporate limits of the City of Orono , from the No. Corp Limits to Last Corp Limits to and, WHEREAS said plans are on file in the office of the Department of Transportation, St. Paul, Minnesota; being marked, labeled, and identified as: S.P. ?,713-40-45-•46...47 (12=10) c 'P_ m12_10_13 (12m.1Q) ; and, WHEREAS said special provisions are on file in the office of the Department of Transportation, St. Paul, Minnesota; being marked, labeled, and identified as: S.P. 2713-40-45-04 47'g2a10) S.P. $602.-10--13 (12-10) ; and which, together with the "Minnesota Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction," dated 1978, will govern, and which are on file in the office of the Commissioner of Transportation, constitute the specifications for said improvement of Trunk Highway No. 10 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 12 ; and, WHEREAS copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and, WHEREAS the term, "said plans and special provisions," as hereinafter used in the body of this Resolution will be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the plans and special provisions in the,<foregoing recitals particularly identified and described; and, VIEREAS The Commissioner of Transportation desires in the interest of public safety that any and all parking of vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of the City ofrnzo ` , on said Trunk Highway No. 10 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 12 , will be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway and will be at least 20 feet from any crosswalk.
