- 4 - <br />f Before submitting its comprehensive plan for review pursuant to the Land Planning Act, Orono should re- <br />evaluate its rural development policy by documenting: <br />A. Potential pollution to Lake Minnetonka from alternate development densities and techniques; <br />b. Potential impact of I-394 and post -1990 development pressures on Orono's rural area. <br />3. Orono's CSP should indicate specifically how the development served by the Long Lake local collection <br />system will be served on a permanent basis. <br />4. Orono's CSP should be amended to provide for the following actions by the City: <br />collection system for areas C -D <br />nd G -H <br />th <br />ee <br />a, afteri <br />ithe Oronoeinttnerceptornisrcompleted. Individual houses and businesses awill bewrequired ryears <br />and to hook <br />up within two years thereafter, in accordance with MWCC rules and regulations. <br />b. The City will monitor water quality and conduct studies oonndthe eccoonohe fic and environmentalnd i data <br />are <br />-as constructing local collection systems in B, E, <br />from these studies, together with recommendations, will be included in Orono's final CSP prepared <br />pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act. <br />When the Waste Control Commission revises the Metropolitan Sewer Service Region (MSSR) to be the same <br />as the MUSA, the individual lakeshore developments approved for sewer service shall be included in the <br />MSSR for purposes of the Commission's cost allocation system, even though they are not in the MUSA. <br />The Council's Waste Management Policy Plan should be amended accordingly. <br />5. The City is commended for the direction it is taking in the regulation of on-site disposal systems and <br />should submit its revised regulations to the Council for review. <br />6.
