I. INTRODUCTION <br />A. Brief background of development of the stun gun. <br />B. Summary of research done by this and other law <br />enforcement agencies. <br />1. List agencies and organizations involved. <br />II. Field Testing <br />A. State guidelines under which field testing will be done. <br />1. Who will be selected for initial field testing. <br />2. Review Special Order No. 16. <br />B. Additional reports necessary. <br />1. Report shall include: <br />a. Date, time and location of use. <br />b. A brief description of the incident. <br />Include events which led to the use of the <br />stun gun and the results. <br />c. State if stun gun was or was not effective. <br />d. Include sex, age, physical description of <br />subject. <br />C. Report required. (Special Order 16.5) <br />During the field testing period a report must be made on <br />each incident involving officer use or threat of use of <br />the stun gun. <br />1. Report shall include: <br />a. Date, time and location. <br />b. Description of suspect. Include sex, age, <br />physical description- note if he/she has <br />history of heart problems. <br />c. A brief description of the incident. <br />II1. Use of the stun gun. <br />A. View video tape. <br />4 <br />
