Purpose: <br />The Planning Commission should discuss and make a recommendation for a Chair and Vice Chair <br />for 2026. <br />2. Background: <br />The Chair of the Planning Commission leads the meeting including public hearings, discussions <br />and signs required documents for the commission. The appointment of the chair has fluctuated <br />overtime. Historically, the commission would make a recommendation to the council. In the past <br />few years, the city council wanted to give commission members the opportunity to act as chair <br />with 1 year appoints for the chair.
