Box 66 <br />Crystal Ray, MN 55323 <br />Members of the Planning Commission: <br />Ile wish to request a variance to the Orono Municipal Code, Section 10.60: <br />Subd. 13, pertaining to the storage of boats on private property. <br />We are informed that we are in violation of the Code as to the placement <br />of the boat on the property and as to its' size. <br />As To Placement: Because of the slope of the property, the boat is in <br />the only p ace possible to put it. We would be happy to move it anywhere <br />else on the property, unfortunately ther3 simply is no other spot for it. <br />( See * on survey) . <br />As To Size: There are numerous boats stored on private property throughout <br />the City of Orono that are over 20 feet. In fact, this is true of two of <br />my imriediate neighbors.
