City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY :OUNCIL <br />NO. <br />The City Council finds that- ti:-• conditions existing on <br />this property aie peculiar to it and do not apply generally <br />to other property in this zoning district; that granti,ig the <br />variance would not adversely affect traffic conditions, <br />lic!-,r, air nor pose a F..re hazard or other danger to <br />neighboring property; ..ould not merely serve as a <br />convenience to the appli(-.,nt, but is necessary to alleviate <br />a demonstrable hardship or difficulty; is necessary to <br />preserve a substantial property right of the applicant; and <br />would be in keeping with the spirit and intent of the Zoning <br />Code and Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br />CONCLUSII',NS, ORDER CONDITIONS <br />Based upon the above findings, the Orono City Council <br />hereby grants a variance to Minicipa Code Section 10.55, <br />Subdivision 8 and Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to permit the <br />construction of a i70 square foot deck Ltructurrof which 404 <br />square feet iF to be 1c7ated 60 feet from the lakeshore and <br />within the 0-75 foot Lakeshore setback zone where no structures <br />are normally allowed, subject to the following conditions: <br />1.
