The cost estimate is based on completing the water lint! in conjunction <br />with the sanitary sewer construction. We have also reviewed two options for <br />providing water service to the area. The first option would be to construct a <br />well, pumphouse, and pressure system and the second option would be connec- <br />tion to the Long Lake system. <br />The estimated cost for the lateral system is $297,060, resulting in a unit <br />cost of $3,580 for 83 units. <br />The estimated cost for the well and pressure system is $289,800 and the esti- <br />mated cost for the trunk water line from Long Lake is $514,380. <br />The advantage of the trunk water line is that adequate fire protection would <br />be available for the area.
