It is <br />surmised that the driver of the Honda car going east <br />on Cty. 15 had his radar detector go off because Officer <br />Griffiths was coming over the crest of the Arcola Bridge. <br />The driver of the Honda hit his brakes and lost control <br />sliding across into our officers lane of travel. <br />(see accident report) <br />The insurance adjuster has totaled out Unit 142 and I <br />have been able to order one more car on the Hennepin <br />County bid to replace this unit. <br />I request Council permission to buy a fourth car for 1965 <br />on Hennepin County bid with insurance paying for the <br />fourth unit. <br />
