6.7 UNUSUAL CONDITIONS <br />Contractor shall promptly notify Owner and Engineer in writing of any <br />subsurface or latent physical conditions at the site or in an existing <br />structure differing materially from those indicated or referred to in the <br />Contract Documents. Engineer will promptly review those conditions and advise <br />Owner in writing if further investigation or tests are necessary. Promptly <br />thereafter, Owner shall obtain the necessary additional investigations and <br />tests and furnish copies to Engineer and Contractor. If Engineer finds that <br />the results of such investigations or teats indicate that there are subsurface <br />or latent physical conditions which differ materially from those intended in <br />the Contract Documents, and which could not reasonably have been anticipated <br />by Contractor, a Change Order shall be issued incorporating the necessary <br />revisions. <br />SECTION 7 <br />' MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND WORKMANSHIP <br />7.1 MATERIALS AND E UIPMENT FURNISHED BY CONTRACTUR <br />7.1.1 Contractor shall `furnish all materials, equipment, labor, <br />transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, <br />fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water and sanitary facilities and all <br />other facilities and incidentals necessary for the execution, testing, <br />initial operation and completion of the Work. <br />7.1.2 All materials used in the Work shall he of good quality, new unless <br />otherwise provided for in the Contract Documents, shall meet the <br />requirements of the Specifications, and shall not be incorporated into the <br />Work until reviewed by the Engineer. If required by Engineer, Contractor <br />shall furnish satisfactory evidence (including reports of requited tests) <br />as to the kind and quality of material: and equipment. <br />7.1.3 <br />All materials and equipment shall be applied, installed, connected, <br />erected, <br />used, cleaned and conditinned in accordance with the instructions <br />of the <br />applicable manufacturer, fabricator, supplier or distributor, <br />except <br />as otherwise provided in the Contract 1).--tments. <br />7.2 MATERIALS <br />FURNISHED BY OWNER <br />7.2.'. <br />Materials gpecifically indicated shall be furnished by the Owner. <br />Before <br />incorporating anv of the materials into the Work, the Contractor <br />shall <br />inspect the materials so t,irnished by the Owner.
