1.14 DRAWINGS <br />The Drawings are all plans, drawings or reproductions of drawings issued by <br />the Engineer pertaining to the Work and provided for in the Contract Documents. <br />1.15 WRITTEN NOTICE <br />Written Notice shall be deemed to have been served if delivered in person or <br />sent by registered or certified mail to the individual or other entity or to <br />the last known business address of such individual or entity. It shall be the <br />duty of each party to advise the other parties to the Agreement as to any <br />change in the business address until completion and acceptance of the Work. <br />1.16 ACTS OF GOD <br />An Act of God is an unusual, extraordinary and sudden manifestation of the <br />forces of nature, uncontrolled and uninfluenced by the power of man and <br />without human intervention, that could not under normal circumstances have <br />been anticipated or expected. Ordinary expected weather conditions of normal <br />intensity for the locality shall not be considered as an Act of God. <br />1.17 DEFECTIVE <br />' <br />An adjective which when modifying the word <br />Work refers to Work <br />that is <br />unsatisfactory, faulty or deficient, or does <br />not conform to the <br />Contract <br />'. <br />Documents or does not meet the requirements <br />approval referred to in the Contract Documents, <br />of any inspection, <br />or has been damaged <br />test or <br />prior to <br />Engineer's recommendations of final payment. <br />1.18 Day <br />A calendar day of twenty-four hours measured from midnight to the next <br />midnight. <br />M 1.19 WORK <br />k <br />k <br />The entire completed construction or the various separately identifiable parts <br />thereof required to be furnished under the Contract Documents.
