<br />tractor shall be responsible for all material furnished by him and he shall
<br />replace at his own expense all such material that is found to be defective in
<br />manufacture or that has become damaged after delivery by the manufacturer.

<br />sponsible for the :safe storage of material furnished by or to him, and ac-
<br />cepted by him, and intended for the work, until it has been incorporated in
<br />the completed project.
<br />24,000.3.C. HANDLING PIPE_ b ACCESSORIES: Pipe and other accessories shall,
<br />unless otherwise directed, be unleaded at the point of delivery, hauled to and
<br />distributed at the site of the project by the Contractor; they shall at all
<br />times he handled with care to avoid damage.

<br />line.% and grades; with tees, wyes, catch basins, special ecru^cures and man-
<br />holes nt the required location9; and with joints centered and spigots home.
<br />24,000.3.D2. Fxistin Utilitiee: Existinc water and Fewer mains, and other
<br />underground utilities, are shown on the plans only by general location. The
<br />Owner does not guarantee that the utilities are complete «r that the locations
<br />to are as shown on the plans, and the Contractor shall be solely responsible for
<br />verifying the exact location of each of these utilities, without additional
<br />IN compensation. Prior to the star" of any construction, the Contractor Shall
<br />notify all utility companies having utilities in the Project Area. The Con
<br />tractor shall have sole responsibility for providing temporary support and for

<br />protecting and maintaining all existing utilities in the Project Area during
<br />the entire period of construction, including but not limited to the period of
<br />excavation, backfill and compacti:±n. In carrving. o,it this responsibility, the

<br />h lines are crossed, to provide compacted hackfill or other stable support for
