Orono City Council <br />Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, rV 55323 <br />CITY OF OROPJQ I <br />In response to your published invitation, I ar., applying for appoint-ment <br />to the Orono Park Commission. <br />I have a long-standing interest and concern with park and recreation activities. <br />!As a member of the Savage City council in 1968-69; I oversaw the park depart- <br />ment. I have been a member of the Scott -Hennepin Park Advisory Board since about <br />1974, and am presently an appointee of the Hennepin County Park Reserve District <br />under the joint -powers agreement with Scott County. In approximately 1973-74, <br />I served on the Metropolitan Park Advisory cornrittee, and I am presently the <br />secretary of the Metropolitan Park Foundation. <br />I have been a resident of Orono since November, 1982.
