Sales for the major <br />cat.gories of liquor, wine, and beer are shown. Each category is <br />divided by the number of sales to arrive at an average sale <br />price. The total monthly sales includes the mix and <br />miscellaneous sales as well as liquor, beer, and wine sales. The <br />total sales (net of discounts) is divided by the total customer <br />count for the month to show an average sale per customer. <br />To arrive at an estimated gross profit and net profit per month <br />we have taken a five year average percentage for the fourth <br />quarter of 1979 through 1983 and applied this to December of the <br />current quarter. The actual percentages are used for the prior <br />two years. Although using this procedure will not be completely <br />accurate it should give reasonably close results. <br />The attached monthly report reflects 1983 as the high sales year <br />overall. Net sales for December 1984 are even with 1982 but are <br />down $5,631 or 11.41 from 1983. <br />
