City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED tha+ the City Council of <br />the City of Orono hereby denies the appeals application of John <br />Ericson that sought to e:-empt the division of applicant's legally <br />combined lots from the customary performance standards set forth <br />in trn-,ubdivision regulations and zoning code of the City based <br />on one or more of the following findings: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. The applicant has ached the City to consider waiving the <br />application of the performance standards of the subdivision <br />regulations in the creation of a new building site by <br />approving the following variances: <br />The LR-IC, Lal::eshore Residentirl District requires the <br />fbllowing standard: <br />Pert; 21,780 s.f. <br />Oidth - 100' <br />a) Lot 3 + part of Lot` <br />Area Existing = 19,501-1 s.-, . <br />Variance = 2, 28V s.f. or <br />Width Existing = 65' <br />Variance - :5' or 35% <br />b) Lot 4 <br />Area Existing - 16,200 s.f. <br />Variance - 5,580 s.f. or 26% <br />Width Existing = 65' <br />Vari,ince - 35' or Z5% <br />c) Side setbacl variance required for residence on <br />Lot 4: <br />Required - 10' <br />Existing - 3' <br />Variance = 7 ' or 71.►X <br />Page 2 of <br />
