GSGL-21. ABSENTEE VOTING (C) <br />Current law for absentee voting is romplicated. The counting of the <br />absentee ballots have caused unnecessary delays in reporting ballot returns and <br />conflicts have resulted between state and federal government regarding <br />procedures in delivery of absentee ballots. <br />The League supports an earlier date for the filings of municipal offices in <br />order to have additional time for preparation of ballots and delivering of <br />absentee ballots. <br />
