INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: <br />PROPOSAL FORMS: The bidder shall use the proposal forms attached to <br />t ese specs Mcations. Bids shall be typewritten or written in ink. <br />Corrections or erasures shall be initialed by the bidder. <br />MARKING AND MAILING BIDS: bids must be securely sealed in <br />suitable envelopes, addressed and marked on the outside: "Bid <br />for furnishing Materials and Equipment to be opened on Friday, <br />February 8th , 1985, at 10:00 A.M." Bids shall be addressed to <br />the City Council, City of Orono, P.O. Box 66, Crystal Bay, <br />Minnesota 55323. No bids will be accepted after the time stated <br />above unless it is evident there was a delay in the mail. <br />Bidders are welcome to present their bids in person and attend <br />the bid opening. All bids, when received, shall become the <br />property of the City of Orono. <br />PLACE OF BID OPENIN;: The bids will be publicly opene-i and read at the <br />above mention -ems t me at the City of Orono Council Chambers, 1275 South <br />Brown Road, Crystal Bay, Minnesota. <br />AWARD OR REJECTION OF BIDS: The work will be awarded to the lowest <br />resnons1.3 e bi. ers complying with these specifications and <br />instructions providing their bids are reasonable and it is to the <br />interest of the City to accept them. The bidders, to whom the work is <br />awarded, will be notified as soon as possible. However, the City <br />reserves the right to hold all hids for thirty days prior to the award <br />and reject any and all bids. <br />DELIVERY TIME: The City will place orders as needed. In the event <br />t aft tiie successful kidder is unable to fill the order in a reasonable <br />time, the City reserves the right to place the order with another bidder <br />who can perform on schedule. <br />-1- <br />
