• E. Distribution of Sewage <br />A pressure distribution system shall be utilized to provide <br />equal distribution of the sewage effluent over the entire soil <br />absorption area. <br />F. Pressure System <br />The pressure distribution system shall consist of a pumping <br />chamber, pump of adequate size to deliver the effluent through <br />the system, and 1 to 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe for the distribution <br />laterals. <br />G. Piping <br />Distribution piping shall be 1 to 1-1/2 inch ASTM approved PVC <br />pipe with 1/4•inch holes drilled ever -y-30 inches. The holes <br />shall be drilled in accordance with the procedure indicated <br />in mound package•#1 - Section 9. <br />H. Pipe Laid <br />The distribution pipe shall -be laid in continuous straight <br />or curved lines. <br />I. Pipe Laid <br />L The distribution pipe shall be laid level for proper distribution <br />of the effluent. <br />CJ. Aggregate <br />A minimum of 12 inches of clean, graded rock in similar aggregate <br />ranging in size from 1 to 2-1/2 inches shall be laid into the , <br />trench or bed below the distribution pipe and such aggregate shall <br />extend at least 2 inches over.the top of the distribution pipe. <br />The aggregate shall be covered with untreated building paper or T <br />.2 inches of marsh hay or equal. <br />K. Backfill _ <br />The soil backfill shall be 12-18 inches over the top for the <br />distribution piping. The soil shall be an unconsolidated loam. <br />The soil shall be mounded to allow for settling.. (See Figure -2). <br />
