(6) The settling compartment shall have a minimum <br />net holding capacity equal to twenty •percent <br />of the volume of the aeration compartment. The - <br />design shall provide for effective settling and <br />continuous return of settled sludge to the <br />aeration compartment. <br />b.* A minimum of one year warranty and an initial two <br />year- service contract which specifies regular inspection <br />calls and effluent quality checks shall be provided as <br />a part of the purchase agreement. <br />C. All other features of the aerobic tanks not specifically <br />mentioned above shall comply with National Sanitation <br />Foundation. Standard No. 40. <br />
