AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: November 10, 2025 <br />Title: Lake Access Orchard Beach Place - Resolution 7636 <br />Presenter: Joe Ruthenberg, Superintendent - Parks, Facilities <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Item: 8 <br />Purpose: <br />To designate as open for public access and approve the marking of the lake access point at Orchard <br />Beach Place. <br />2. Background: <br />The lake access point located at Orchard Beach Place was identified for marking in a 2014 study <br />and again in 2021 to avoid future encroachment. In 2022, the parks lake access sub -committee <br />recommended the site for marking. At its November 4th meeting, the Parks Commission voted to <br />recommend marking the site. If marked and designated for public access, staff, council, and the <br />parks commission should look for improvements to this site with ease of access and amenities. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Recommend approving the resolution to add lake access markings and signage at the lake access <br />point on Orchard Beach Place. <br />4. Park Commission Action Requested: <br />Approve Resolution 7636 to designate for public access, and add lake access markings and <br />signage at the lake access point on Orchard Beach Place. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
