AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: November 10, 2025 <br />Title: Meeting Calendar 2026 <br />Presenter: Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this item is to approve the calendar of official public meetings for 2026. <br />Item: 3 <br />2. Background: <br />The calendar has been revised and satisfies the public notice requirement for regular business <br />meetings and work sessions of the City Council, as well as the Planning and Park Commissions. <br />Regular business meetings are for items ready for formal action and held in the council chambers <br />with City Council on the second and fourth Monday of each month, Planning Commission on the <br />third Monday of each month, and Park Commission in February, May, June, October, and <br />November. <br />Work sessions are for members to learn and discuss topics before taking action at a regular <br />business meeting. City Council work sessions are at 5 pm on the second and fourth Monday of <br />each month, Planning Commission work sessions are scheduled as needed, and Park Commission <br />work sessions are planned for January, February, April, June, August, October, and November. <br />Official business is not conducted on observed holidays and offices are closed New Year's Day, <br />Friday after New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, <br />Independence Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after <br />Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. <br />3.
