01 <br />• RESOLUTION #872 <br />WEST HEN14EPIN HUMAN SERVICES PLANNING FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, this City Council is in full support of the activities <br />and leadership provided by the West Hennepin Human Services <br />Planning Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Council feels that these activities have had a <br />positive impact on the development and delivery of human services <br />in our community; and, <br />WHEREAS, this planning activity has been delegated to Hennepin <br />• County by state legislation and has been responsibly and <br />effectively carried out through community planning boards; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of rCty <br />of Orono , that: <br />1. This Council recommends that a strong human services planning <br />board be maintained; <br />• 2. That the most appropriate funding mechanism is through <br />Hennepin County; and <br />3. That this Council urges the County Board to continue funding <br />as they have in the past. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a <br />regular meeting held February 9 1978. <br />William B.
