�o10 <br /> CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��jqk� o��`` NO. 7631 <br /> SH <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR THE <br /> CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLS AND ACCOUNTS <br /> RECEIVABLE INVOICES TO HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR COLLECTION WITH THE <br /> 2026 PROPERTY TAXES <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Orono,Minnesota has enacted Chapter 2 of <br /> the Orono City Code which pertains to the payment and collection of water, sewer and storm <br /> water charges and annual service charges for recycling, and the on-site sewage treatment(septic) <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota has also enacted Chapter <br /> 6 of the Orono City Code which pertains to the payment and collection of general service <br /> charges; and <br /> WHEREAS,the charges identified in the attached list of properties are delinquent in <br /> nature; and <br /> WHEREAS,an advanced ten-day mailed notice and a published notice of the hearing <br /> was given, and the hearing will be held thereon the 27 day of October 2025, at which all persons <br /> desiring to be heard are given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono as <br /> follows: <br /> That the Hennepin County Special Assessment Division is hereby authorized to place the <br /> delinquent water, sewer and storm water charges, annual service charges for recycling,the on-site <br /> sewage treatment(septic)program charges,and accounts receivable invoices,on the 2025 property <br /> tax rolls,payable in 2026, at eight percent(8%)per annum, against the specified properties as set <br /> forth in the following Exhibits. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on October 27, <br /> 2025. <br /> ATTEST: f CITY OF ORONO <br /> (2-4---> <br /> 1/Il <br /> Christi usi.a7City Clerk Bob Tunheim, Mayor <br />
