PAGE 22 <br />PAYMENT #1 <br />B & D CONTRACTING <br />NAVARRE FORCE MAIN Councilmember flammerel moved, Councilmember Adams <br />seconded, to approve Payment 01 to B & D Contracting in <br />the amount of $59,576. Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />STREET SECTION REVIEW City Engineer Cook reviewed with the Council an option <br />for reducing the cost of the Crystal Bay Sewer project <br />by leaving the size of the existing streets the same <br />instead of upgrading them to the required code size. <br />Cook stated that the original estimate for replacing <br />street sections was $?63,900 compared with $251,400 if <br />the Council decides to leave the streets at existing <br />width. Cook noted that this is just another method of <br />reducing the cost of the sewer project. Cook's letter <br />is on file at City hall for review by the public. <br />COUNTY ROAD 15 <br />PRELIMINARY PLAN <br />RESOLUTION #1694 Councilmember Adams presented the County Road 15 <br />preliminary plan. Council decided that the shoulders <br />proposed along County Road 15 should not exceed 8'. <br />Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Frahm seconded, to <br />approve Resolution #1694, A Resolution Approving <br />Hennepin County Preliminary Plan for County State Aid <br />Highway 15 and Variance Request as Required by MN <br />Department of Transportation. Motion, Ayes (5), Nays <br />(0). <br />INFO LETTER FROM <br />MET COUNCIL* Councilmember Adams moved, Councilmember Hammerel <br />seconded, to approve the information letter frm the <br />Met Council regarding the Maple Plain Interceptor. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />INSURANCE SPECS* Councilmember Adams moved, Councilmember Hammerel <br />seconded, to approve the Insurance Specs. Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />SALARY ADJUSTKENT <br />LYLE OMAN* Councilmember Adams moved, Councilmember Hamm#:rel <br />seconded, to approve a salary adjustment for Lyle Oman <br />from $7.2`i/hr to $7.50/hr effective October 22, 1964. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />
