consulting fees incurred in intervention, estimated at $35,000, <br />and that SRA pay legal costs, estimated at S15,000 to $25,000. <br />Mr. Purdue pointed out that the change in 'the demand ratchet <br />would not affect all municipalities eaually. Those with more <br />uniform demands would not be as adverselv affected by Commer- <br />cial -Industrial class rates. During the discussion it was <br />suggested that each SRA member determine its interest in the <br />issue. The consensus was, however, that the SRA should partici- <br />pate with the AWWA and oppose the elimination of the Municipal <br />Pumping Class. Mr. Purdue stated he had discussed the matter <br />with Chairman McorP and that he and Chairman Moore recommended <br />SRA participate; and that it limit its contribution to $7,500. <br />Mr. McGraw moved that SRA participate and that. the Board author- <br />ize a contribution of $7,500 to the AWWA on the understanding <br />that it will coordinate the case. Mr. Thomson seconded the <br />motion. The motion carried with Mr. Shoaren of Lauderdale <br />abstaining. <br />9. Adjournment: There h-inq no furthor business to come <br />befcire the meeting, Mr. Flora moved the meeting be ad ourned. <br />Mr. Dalen seconded the motion..
