city of oR,olvo <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR COUNTY STATE AID <br />HIGHWAY 15 AND VARIANCE REQUEST AS REQUIRED <br />DY MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County has prepared and presented preliminary <br />pl_tns for the improvements to CSAH 15 and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County intends to obtain state aid funding for <br />this improvement project, which would require a variance from state <br />aid standards from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Orono does hereby approve the preliminary plan and variance for the <br />improvement of CSAH 15. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Orono agrees with <br />Hennepin County's request to obtain a variance from the state <br />standards from the Minnesota Department of Transportation to allow for <br />one lane east and one lane west with bituminous shoLIlders on that part <br />Of County Road 15 east of County Road 19 to Hillside Drive in the City <br />Of Wayzata as this type of raodway design agrees with Orono'S <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Orono at a regular <br />Council meeting this 29th day of October 1984. <br />--- - -- Ayes ____------- Nayes <br />---------- -- ___ <br />Mary C.
