I. DEFINITIONS <br />A. Utilities Connection Grant <br />"Grant" means the commitment of funds on behalf of recipients for the <br />purpose of making eligible improvements to eligible properties as <br />described in Sections IV and V of these Procedural Guides. <br />B. Recipient <br />"Recipient" means an individual or household meeting the requirements <br />of Section VI who applies for and receives a grant. <br />C. Grant Package <br />The "Grant Package" consists of all documents listed below and <br />e;;plaoned in Section VII. <br />1. Homeowner Application for Grant <br />2. individual Data Confidentiality <br />3. Income Verification <br />4. Asset Verification <br />5. Title Verification <br />6. Applicant Data <br />7. Inspection Report <br />8. Repayment Agreement (if utilized) <br />9. Contractor Bids <br />10. Contractor -Homeowner Warranty <br />11. Proceed to Work Order <br />12. Amendment Request Certificate (if needed) <br />13. Complaint Record (if needed) <br />D. Resident <br />"Resident" means a person, other than a renter, living in the <br />household for at least 9 months of the year. <br />E. Household Gross Income <br />"Household Gross Income" means the annual income of all residents of <br />the recipient's household as determined in accordance with Section <br />VI. <br />F. Assets <br />"Assets" means the assets of an applicant as determined in accordance <br />with Section VI. <br />
