I n February of 183, Henke signed off on <br />a temporary Certificate of Occupancy (exhibit A) that required the <br />following t-1 be completed: <br />1 - footings and foundation by Jtj>y 31, 1983 <br />2 - ro -eplaced by July 31, 1983 <br />Since thc-? temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued Henke has had <br />many meetings and "exchanges" with staff. The City agreed to extend <br />the expiration of the temporary Certif icate of Occupancy in order to <br />allow timfi for Henke to apply fora :nRG l3cint from the County. After_ <br />many Ael-iys (exhihi t. O), Henke filed an application with the County and <br />was elqnied because of unpaid real taxes clue on the pcop,frty since <br />1992. A fact tnat puts him in default of his Contract for Deed (exhibit <br />A) but this is not pertinent to the City only to the estat,� oF. Richard <br />Gilmore. <br />Current status of t1V! property. <br />'Nothing has been done to the structure since Febcuacy ' 8 1 - at least not <br />the cequi red improv*nents set forth in the temporary Cryrt i f irate of <br />Oc:,:up,iocy. We have found <br />no visible signs of a commnerci-al operation. .staff has reported the <br />following viotatioos: <br />1. Unlicensed van parked in rear of yard - now removed <br />2. There have been 2 to 3 cars parked in <br />the driveway area on the property off and on for the past two to <br />three months <br />Two weeks ago, I Asked the Rai lei ins Official to give me. a current up,i.ate <br />on his dealings -4ith 1ie3nke.
