Vice Chairman TO: LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES <br />Shorewood <br />JoEllen Hurr, Secretary <br />Orono <br />Attached is the 1985 Lake Minnetonka Conservation District revised <br />EdTonk:BeYumen,Treasurer <br />budget as certified by the LMCD Board of Directors at its meeting <br />Donald Boynton <br />October 3, 1984, reducing the original levy by $22,945. <br />Minnetonka Beach <br />Jonathan R Elam <br />Moun <br />Minnesota Statute Chapter 907, Section 4 provides: "Expense of the <br />Alan hang <br />Minnetrista <br />district shall be borne by the municipalities. Soderberg <br />year, prepare g <br />each re a detailed budget of its need for the next <br />Victoria <br />calendar year and certify the budget on that date to the gover- <br />c"e H.I1so`"tef <br />ning body of each municipality in the district together with a <br />statement of the proportion of the budget to be provided by each <br />municipality. The governing body of each municipality in the <br />district Ehall review the budget, and the directors, upon notice <br />from any municipality, shall hear objections to the budget and <br />may, after the hearing, modify or amend the budget, and then give <br />notice to the municipalities of modifications or amendments.
