AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: October 27, 2025 <br />Title: 2026 Draft Capital Improvement Plan - Part 2 <br />Presenter: Maggie Jin, Finance Director <br />Section: Work Session Item <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to provide council a briefing on the 2026 draft Capital <br />Improvement Plan. <br />Item: 1 <br />2. Background: <br />Each year as part of the budget process, staff updates the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The <br />CIP is a planning level document that provides a 10-year planning schedule and allows the <br />identification of significant capital expenses. <br />3. Summary: <br />At the October 13th Council Work Session, the briefing included the Equipment and Community <br />Investment sections. With today's briefing, staff will present the remaining portions of the capital <br />improvement plan. Staff will present the Public Works (Street, Water, Sewer, and Stormwater), <br />Parks, Golf, IT, Police, Fire, and Facilities sections. The full 2026 draft Capital Improvement Plan <br />is attached, with discretion that staff is still reviewing all sections to ensure best planning. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Provide feedback on the 2026 draft Capital Improvement Plan. <br />Exhibits <br />A. 2026 Draft Capital Improvement Plan <br />B.
