Purpose: <br />The purpose of this item is to present the Utility Rate Study to Council. <br />2. Background: <br />Justin Nilson, with Abdo, will be giving a final update on the utility rate study. <br />Item: 12 <br />The utility rate study recommends the following increases in user fees for the following funds: <br />2026 <br />2027 <br />2028 <br />2029 <br />2030 <br />Water 25% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />Sewer 3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />Stormwater 3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3% <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Provide staff directions on additional suggestions and recommendations on the utility rates. Staff <br />will be requesting Council to set the utility rates prior to adoption of the overall Fee Schedule at <br />the November 1 Oth Council meeting. This will allow staff ample time to send out notices with the <br />last remaining utility bills of the year prior to the new fees being charged. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Provide staff directions on additional suggestions and recommendations on the utility rates. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
