Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />Phone (952) 249-4600 Fax (952) 249-4616 <br />NOTICE <br />The Orono Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Orono Council Chambers at <br />2780 Kelley Parkway on Monday, April 20, 2015, beginning at 6 :30 p .m. on the matter of reviewing the <br />following land use applications requests : <br />15-3724 <br />15-3725 <br />15-3726 <br />15-3727 <br />15-3728 <br />15-3729 <br />City of Orono proposes an amendment of Municipal Code Chapter 82, Subdivision <br />Regulations, to add provisions for the subdivision of lots containing two-family dwellings to <br />permit private ownership of a single dwelling within such a structure. <br />Douglas & Roban Smith, 4195, 4175 and 4167 Highwood Road, LR-1 B zoning district, <br />request approval of a conditional use permit, hardcover and setback variances to allow <br />hardcover (underground) within 75 feet of the OHWL in order to repair; re-grade; and <br />install subterranean retaining walls in order to stabilize a portion of the lake slope on each <br />of the properties which will exceed 50 cubic yards of disturbance. <br />Gregory & Lynn White; Steven & Patricia White and Todd & Lisa Sylvester, 4355, 4375 <br />and 4245 Bayside Road, LR-1A, RR-1A and RR-1 B zoning districts, request a lot line <br />rearrangement involving all three properties . No new buildable lots will be created. <br />John Brooks, 905 & 960 Ferndale Road West, LR-1A zoning district, requests approval <br />for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement involving the parcels identified as PINS 02- <br />117-23-44-0010 and 02-117-23-44-0017. <br />W Landscapes, Inc. on behalf of Kevin & Teresa Torgerson, 1410 Cherry Place, LR-1B <br />zoning district, requests hardcover and lake setback variances to allow reconstruction of <br />an existing retaining wall system within 75' of the OHWL. <br />Spring Hill Golf Course, 725 Sixth Avenue North, RR-1 B zoning district, requests a <br />conditional use permit to allow construction of a seasonal use building on the property. <br />All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend these meetings. This is not a final agenda <br />and is subject to change prior to the hearings. Written comments are accepted and should be submitted <br />to the City of Orono by April 14, 2015 if possible .
