Resolution 25-07 <br />Establishing and Appointing a City Liaison to the CBLID <br />CARMAN BAY LAKE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25-07 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND APPOINTING A CITY LIAISON TO THE <br />CARMAN BAY LAKE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BOARD <br />WHEREAS, the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District Board of Directors ("LID <br />Board") believes that it is important to create a nonvoting liaison position on the LID Board to be <br />held by a representative of the City of Orono, Minnesota ("City") to enhance two-way <br />communication and share resources. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CARMAN BAY LAKE <br />IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT: <br />The LID Board hereby establishes a nonvoting City Liaison position to attend and <br />participate in LID Board meetings, to be filled by a City appointee. The City <br />appointee may be any current City staff or elected official. A City Liaison shall serve <br />for a term of one year beginning on the date of the annual meeting and running until <br />the next annual meeting. <br />2. The City Liaison shall act as a representative of the City Council at LID Board <br />meetings.
