AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: October 13, 2025 <br />Title: 2026 Draft Capital Improvement Plan - Part 1 <br />Presenter: Maggie Jin, Finance Director <br />Section: Work Session Item <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to provide council a briefing on the 2026 draft Capital <br />Improvement Plan. <br />Item: 2 <br />2. Background: <br />Each year as part of the budget process, staff updates the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The <br />CIP is a planning level document that provides a 10-year planning schedule and allows the <br />identification of significant capital expenses. <br />3. Summary: <br />Today's CIP briefing includes the Public Works (Street, Water, Sewer, and Stormwater) and <br />Equipment sections. Staff will present individual presentation slides on their items respectively. At <br />the October 27 Council Work Session, staff will present the Parks, Golf, Police, IT and Facilities <br />sections.
