MINUTES OF REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETIh' "EPTBMBER 12, 1988 <br />ZONING FILE #1314-ROWIJM"n CONTINUED <br />as opposed to one-half. Gaffron stated that the resolution could <br />be revised to reflect the Council's decision as to the extent of <br />removal. The resolution currently directs that one-half of the <br />patio be removed. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmembei <br />Goetten, to amend Resolution #2492, to direct that applicant <br />remove the most southerly 7' x 20' section of patio, which will <br />leave two temaininq 7' x 20' slabs. Motion, Ayes=5, Nays-0, <br />Motion passed. <br />#1315 COUNTRYSIDE MANOR HOMEOWNER'S ASSOCIATION <br />WILLOW DRIVE AND COUNTRYSIDE DRIVE <br />VARIANCE <br />ABSOLUTION #2493 <br />Mr. Phil Miller was present as a representative for the <br />Countryside Manor Homeowner's Association. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson informed the Council that <br />applicant was seeking a variance to construct entrance monuments <br />for Countryside Drive that exceed the 3 1/2' neight requirement. <br />The City and Homeowner's Association previously-iscussed the <br />issue of signage on the monuments and determined that there would <br />be none. <br />Mr. Miller reported that the homeowner's Association had <br />prepared some elevations and drawings of what tney were <br />proposing. The Association had no plans to include any signag,, <br />for the monuments and had no problem adhering to the. City's <br />determination. <br />Mr. Miller also addressed the situation involvinq <br />undenireable behavior on behalf of one of the Associatior. <br />members. During a Planning Commission Meeting, this person made <br />rude ccmments pertaining to the Planning Commission. Mr. Millar <br />stated that this person was out of line and he extended an <br />apology on behalf of this individual. Councilmember Goetten <br />thanked Mr. Miller for his apology and stated that she had been <br />seated eirectly in front of the individual. Councilmember <br />Callahan reiterated Councilmember Goetten's comments. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, .•conded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #24'' Motion, <br />Ayes-S, Nays-0, Motion passed. <br />#1316 GARY BARR <br />3034 CASOU POUR ROAD <br />VARIAMC= <br />Applicant vas present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that -he applicant <br />7 <br />
