Gaffron, Assistant Zoning Administrator <br />DATE: August 8, 1984 <br />SUBJIRCT: #851 Richard Stueland & Ramona Barbeau, 4080 Bayside Road <br />Variance <br />Zoning District - RR-lA - 5 acre <br />Application - Construct a detached garage less than 100' from front <br />property line. <br />List of Exhibits <br />Exhibit A - Application <br />Exhibit B - Plat Map <br />Exhibit C - Property Owners List <br />Exhibit D - Survey <br />Exhibit E - Topoqraphy and Sketch <br />This is a request to construct a detached garage approximately 55' from <br />the front property line in the RR-lA zoning district where a 100' <br />setback is required_ There is an obvious hardship due to <br />topography and location of the existing house and driveway, forcing <br />the proposed garage to be nearer the road than the house and requiring <br />the variance to Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (D)and 10.27 Subdivision <br />5 (B). <br />Applicants sketch also indicates garage is to he located 5' fron the <br />main structure rather than the 10' required, requiring a variance to <br />10.03. Subdivision 1:- From a fire safety standpoint, staff would <br />prefer keeping this 1, ' setback and moving c;arage closer to the road. <br />Would applicant have a problem with this? <br />Staff recommends approval of the street set4a-e�riances and <br />recommends applicant be required to keep tho 10'structure-to- <br />structure setback. <br />r <br />1 Ijtx-) , - / Q <br />
