Uses other than single family <br />residencesshalIbeassigned multiple "units" according to the formula <br />for sewer availability charges as adopted by the Metropolitan Waste <br />Control Commission: <br />a) Single family residences and each unit of a townhouse shalt <br />comprise one "unit". <br />b) Duplex residences shall be assigned one "unit" for each dwelling, <br />2 "units" per building. <br />c) Where 3 or more 4wellings existing in any one apartment or <br />condominium buil q, each dwelling shall comprise 80% of one <br />"unit". <br />d) Residential properties containing a principal residence and a <br />guest house will be assigned units as follows: <br />1) 2 units if the guest house is detached, if the guest house has <br />1,000 square feet of living area or more, and/or if the lot area is <br />at leash 1 112 times the minimum lot area of the zoning district. <br />2) 1 1/2 units if the guest house is detached, if the quest house <br />has less than 1,000 square feet of living area and if the lot area <br />is less than 1 1/2 times the minimum lot area of the zoning <br />district. <br />3) 1 1/2 units if the guest house is attached. <br />4) Additional unit assessments shall be due in cash if the <br />property is ever subdivided and less than 2 units were originally <br />;sensed. <br />e) Residential properties containing ,in accessory building to be <br />connected to sewer or water shall be charged only the 1 unit for <br />the principal residence provided the accessory building does not <br />constitute a guest house or dwelling. <br />;} Non-residential buildings and structures shall be assigned one <br />"unit" for each 100,0(60 gallons of sewer flow per year (274 <br />gallons per day) with a minimum of one "unit" per property. Such <br />buildings, structures or property shall further be assigned <br />"units" consistent with the MWCC standard table of SAC units for <br />various cc.amercial, public, and institutional facility types. <br />This formula shall apply to all. project type;:, not just sewer <br />projects. <br />g) Non-residential properties containing two or more habitable <br />buildings on an undivided property shall be assessed multiple <br />units based upon the total number of units cal- ulated separately <br />for each building.
