3) Pay for all direct expenses, including those <br />forms and supplies, film, aerials and other <br />miscellaneous and homestead material and <br />postage. <br />5. Compensation. The CITY agrees to pay the ASSESSOR <br />for such services the sum of $39,708.00 for the assessment year of <br />1985. Payment shall be in 12 monthly installments of $3,309.00, <br />commencing the last day of September, 1984, and continuing on the <br />last day of ea_h month thereafter through August, 1985. <br />6. Minnesota Statutes. This Agreement has peen entered <br />into in consiiaration of the obligations and requirements set forth <br />in Minnesota Statutes as the same apply to real estate assessing <br />procedures. Both parties agree that any major changes in such <br />requirements daring the term of this Agreement shall necessitate a <br />renegotiation cf the compensation called for herein. <br />7. Representation by Assessor. <br />1) ASSESSOR represents that he is a Certified and <br />Licensed Minnesota Assessor under Chapter 273 <br />of Minnesota Statutes and that he is a <br />qualified real estate appraiser: further, that <br />he will during ail times this contract is in <br />force maintain such licenses and <br />qualifications. <br />2) ASSESSOR agrees to attend the Local 3card of <br />Peview Meeting on a date selected by the CITY. <br />plus attendance at not more than three other <br />City Council meetings in any one year. <br />R. Effective Date of Agreement and Term. This <br />Agreement she._ be effective as of September 1, 1984 and employment <br />of the ASSESSOR to perform the services to be rendered hereinder <br />shall commence as of September 1, 1984, for the performan=e of the <br />1985 real estate assessment, and continue until August 31. 1985: <br />subject, howe',tr, to extension as hereinafter proviied. <br />
