ASSESS['=VT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT made --his _ day of 1984, <br />by and between the City of Orono, a municipal corporation <br />hereinafter referred to as "CITY" and Rolf E. Erickson, herein- <br />after called "ASSESSOR". <br />1. Employment. Vle CITY, which is a separate <br />Assessment District in the Cou..ty of Hennepin and State of <br />Minnesota, does retain and employ the ASSESSOR to perform all <br />functions required of local assessors by Minnesota state statutes, <br />cooperate with the Hennepin Co_nty Assessor by supplying the needed <br />information for each assessment year, and maintain a fair and <br />equitable assessment for the C:^.Y and its taxpayers. <br />2. Functions of Employment. Functions of employment <br />shall include: <br />1) Effective communication with residents, <br />business ;eople, and city officials regarding <br />agreement practices and policies. <br />2) Physically inspect and revalue 251 of the REAL <br />property as requ:red by law. <br />I) Physicsll, inspect and value all new <br />conscruct:.n, additions and renovation+. <br />4) Conduct vs_uation hearings prior to Board of <br />Review. =aproxlmate dates - March and April. <br />5) Attsn�i BCsr'd of Review. Per Board request, <br />make all -.ecessary review appraisals. <br />6) Keep updated field card file - current values, <br />homestee'. and classification data. <br />7) Print, ma:_ and post full year homestead <br />cards. Pr:cess midyear homestead applications. <br />8) Respond t: taxpayer regarding assessment or <br />appraisal -robless or inquiries periodically <br />during c -- ract term. <br />
