Minnesota W'23•Municipal Offers <br />On the North Shore of Lake Aftnnetonka <br />HAND DELIVERED <br />Re: Big Island Vets Camp - Fire Code Violations <br />Dear Mr. Becker: <br />Since you are in charge of the Big Island Veterans Camp in the position <br />of camp manager, I hereby notify you that the camp i s closed as of this <br />date pursuant to Minnesota Uniform Fire Code 2.204 (c) for not <br />complying with correction notices to abate fire hazards as follows: <br />1. Have an authorized electrician check facility for <br />proper wiring, prcvide plan of repair, and have repairs <br />started pursuant to MUFC Section 85.104. <br />2. Board up all windows and doors at the bath house and arch <br />building, and remove all items from buildings pursuant <br />to MUFC Section 11.411 and Section 11.412. <br />Af ter speaking to ycu, it appears that none of the work required will be <br />taken care of by the deadline dates noted in the two previous letters. <br />The above items are considered fire hazards and must be corrected <br />before the camp can reopen.
