City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PRE13ARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATION FOR PAUL SMITH SANITARY SEWER <br />AND WATER14AIN EXTENSION AT 2.477 DUNWOODY AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, on August 27, 1984, the City Cour:ci) ado;,ted <br />Resolution 01666 ordering preparation of a feasibility report <br />regarding proposed sanitary sewer and municipal watermain ex'_ensions <br />to serve the Paul Smith property at 2477 Dunwoody Avenue, P.I.1). 20- <br />117-23-22-0015; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 27, 1984, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution #1667 accepting the feasibility report and calling for a <br />public: hearing on such improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, direct mailed notice to all affected property <br />owners and ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly <br />publications of the required notice was given, and the hearing was held <br />thereon on the loth clay of September, 1984, at which time a] 1 persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the lot for which sewer and water service is <br />proposed is located within the Urban Sewer Service Area of the City of <br />Orono, but it has never previously been assessed for sewer lateral <br />service because it is a landlocked parcel not abutting any public <br />street or right -of -way, and because the avai lable sewer servi ce stub <br />was not previously extended from the public right-of-way t,-, the <br />boundaries of this parcel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Counci 1 of the <br />City of Orono, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota Statutes, does <br />hereby order Bonestroo, Anderlik and Associates, <br />Engineers, to prepare -' Inc., City <br />P P -s and specifications for the extension of <br />municipal sanitary sc: -municipal water main Fervice from the <br />existing service stubs -d in the right -of -way ct Dunwoody Avenue <br />to the Paul Smith property described above. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, <br />at a regular meeting held this 10th day of September, 1984. <br />ATTI,ST: <br />Dorothy M.
