SECTION 2 <br />.a. <br />BIDDING REQUIREMENTS <br />2.1 PROPOSAL FORMS <br />The Owner will furnish Proposal Forms to any qualified Bidder upon request. <br />2.2 INTERPRETATION OF QUANTITY ESTIMATES <br />The quantities appearing in the Proposal shall be used as the basis of <br />calculation for comparison of Proposals. The schedule quantities are to be <br />considered approximare only and may be increased, decreased or omitted as <br />provided in Section 11. <br />2.3 EXAMINATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND WORK SITE. <br />Each Bidder is required to examine carefully the site of the Work, the <br />Proposal Forms, Specifications and Plans. Submission of a Proposa. <br />constitutes a representation by the Bidder that he has made such examination, <br />has familiarized himse'f with the conditions to be encountered, the character, <br />quality and quantity of work to be performed and material to be furnished and <br />has correlated his observations with the requirements of these Contract <br />Documents. <br />2.4 ADDENDA <br />Any Addenda issued prior to the time of receipt of Proposals shall be included <br />in the Proposal and shall be made part of the Contract Documents. Receipt of <br />each Addendum shall be acknowledged by the Bidder in his Proposal. <br />2.5 PREPARATION OF' BID <br />The bidder shall submit his Proposal on the Proposal Form provided by the <br />Owner. All blank spaces in the Proposal must be filled in clearly and <br />correctly in ink or typewritten. Any interlineation, alteration or erasure <br />must be initialed by the signer of the Proposal. The Proposal shall be signed <br />in ink by the individual or authorized representative making the Proposal. <br />2.6 RESERVATIONS AND/OR EXCEPTIONS <br />Reservations or exceptions shall be clearly stated in writing and attached to .. <br />the Proposal. They will be deemed to be a part of and incorporated into the dw <br />Proposal. Bidders are advised that if such reservations or exceptions <br />constitute a substantial deviation from the advertised terms and conditions, ►'1 <br />their Proposals may be rendered nonresponsive.
