—e <br />07920. ,.A.LANTS b CAULKING <br />^ <br />Specific 6 General Requirements <br />07920.1. <br />DESCRIPTION: This secti3n of the specification includes all <br />^ <br />necessary <br />sealing and caulking throughout the building. <br />07920.2. <br />SUBMITTALS: Submit manufacturers specifications and complete color <br />selection <br />for caulking and sealants. <br />07920.3. <br />MATERIALS: The Contractor shall furnish and irstall the proper <br />caulking <br />and sealing material for the particular situations involved. <br />r, <br />Caulking <br />shall be with Dow Corning 784, Sonolastic NP I S II, or approved <br />equal. <br />Co. . shall <br />be as selected by the Engineer. <br />v <br />07920.4. <br />CAULKING: Caulk the perimeter of al'. doors and other openings both <br />interior <br />an�exte or around frames and the head and jambs of all doors where <br />.�+ <br />the frame or trim meets the masonry and wood members. Caulk over the <br />expansion <br />joint material where the concrete re,p meets the existing wood frame <br />structure. <br />Caulk all joints between steel lir_els and wall materials. <br />-- <br />Caulking <br />is to be applied with a gun using the proper nozzle for the type of <br />work involved. <br />Caulking is to be done before the final coat of paint. <br />6-4 0-9693b <br />
