Upon completion the patch shall be smooth, neat and approximately 1/8" <br />to 1/4" above the level of the adjacent bituminous surface. <br />2800.4. METHOD OF MEASUP,EMENT: <br />2800.4.1. Gravel Base: The gravel base shall be measured by weight on a scale <br />provided by the Contractor. <br />2800.4.2 Bituminous Mixture: The bituminous mixture for patching will be mea- <br />sured by weight. Loads shall be weighed on approved scales furnished by the Con- <br />tractor. <br />2800.5. LASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment for the patching mixture at the contract <br />price per ton shall be compensation in full for all costs incidental to the <br />placement of the patching mixtures including removal and disposal cf the un- <br />suitable materials, prime materials and all bituminous materials incorporated <br />in the mixture. <br />Where gravel base is required payment shall be made for the gravel at the <br />contract unit price per ton. <br />Payment for patching will bra macae on ctic i,asis r the following schedule: <br />ITEM NO.
