CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3 '/ iJ 4 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISIONS 1 (B) AND 2; <br />SECTION 10.55, SUBDIVISION 8; AND <br />SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (C & L) <br />FILE #2063 <br />WHEREAS, Gerald R. and Candace E. Rowlette, husband and wife, (hereinafter <br />"the applicants") are owners of the property located at 3775 Bayside Road within the City of <br />Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as foliows: <br />Refer to Exhibit A attached, Hennepin County, ivlinnesota (hereinafter "the property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for vuriunccs lo Municipal <br />Zon1ng Code Section 10.22, Subdivisions 1 (B) and 2; Section 10.55, Subdivision 8~ and <br />Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 (C & L) to pennit the reconstruction of a deck to the lake side <br />of the existing residence to be installed within the exact footprint of the existing deck located <br />58' from the shoreline where a 75' setback is required resulting in 423 s.f. of new hardcover <br />improvement ·where no hardcover is allowed. <br />NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2063. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-1 A, Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District requiting 2 acres in area.
