Hardcover variance to permit hardcover within the 0-250' zone of 30% where 0% <br />hardcover in the 0-75'zone and 25% in the 75' -250' zone are normally required and 30% <br />in the 0-250' zone was approved by variance in June of 2004. <br />2. Street/rear yard setback variance to permit the proposed shed to be located 21' from the <br />property line where 50' is normally required and the existing home was permitted to be <br />setback 21' from the property line by variance. <br />(Hardcover is measured within 0-250' from the lake as the required street setback and lake <br />setback overlap requiring hardcover to exist within 75' of the lake. This 0-75' hardcover is <br />transferred back to the 75'-250' zone where 25% would be the maximum allowed hardcover on <br />the property.) <br />At the November 14, 2005 meeting, on a vote of 4-1, the Council directed staff to draft a resolution <br />approving the requested variances to permit the applicant to construct a 12' x 12' shed. The attached <br />resolution permits the shed in the location requested by the applicants stipulating the hardcover <br />reductions originally proposed. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Adopt the attached Resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt the attached resolution approving variances for 3775 Bayside Road.
